Traffic Calming

Safety and security is an important part of moving about in any community across the country. The City of Gunnison is committed to maintenance and innovation towards street safety within and around our city limits. The 2030 Comprehensive Plan details a commitment to "safe interconnected trails, sidewalks, roads, and transit systems that provide enjoyable and intuitive access to all areas of the community." Hearing from residents that there are always improvements to make, the City of Gunnison has developed a Traffic Calming Program to assess needs and concerns from the community.
