Thank you to everyone who participated in the important survey regarding a potential ballot measure to create a dedicated funding source for street maintenance needs and improvements this November. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, ideas, and opinions with the City of Gunnison. Your answers will influence decisions regarding street maintenance and improvements in your community. The survey results and feedback from the focus groups will be presented to City Council on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 5:30 pm during the Regular Session meeting.

Gunnison is a small mountain community on the western slope of Colorado with a population of approximately 6,560 full time residents. The population increases annually with the influx of tourism and Western Colorado University students numbering an additional 2,500. The City of Gunnison is the county seat for Gunnison County. Gunnison has a rich history of ranching, agriculture, mining, tourism and outdoor recreation opportunities that bring many more people through the community.
