4th of July Workers

The City of Gunnison is seeking energetic, motivated, and honest people to staff security positions around the launch site of this year’s fireworks show.

Qualified individuals will be paid $22.55 per hour which includes overtime for working on the 4th of July holiday. The shifts are 4-8 hours long and include watching for anyone entering the fireworks safety zone, entry and exit gates at the beer garden.

Gunnison is a small mountain community on the western slope of Colorado with a population of approximately 6,560 full time residents. The population increases annually with the influx of tourism and Western Colorado University students numbering an additional 2,500. The City of Gunnison is the county seat for Gunnison County.
