SENIOR FOOD PROGRAMS
Senior Meals Program - $5.00 meals Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for pick-up or delivery.
To order meals, call (970) 641-8272 at least 24 hours ahead.
Gunnison County Food Pantry 60+ Day - Every Thursday (except holidays), 10AM - 2PM. Food shopping offered to seniors age 60+ on limited or fixed incomes. Call: (970) 641-4156.
Gunnison and nearby vicinity - FREE bus service available by appointment, 7 days a week, 9AM - 4PM. Call Gunnison Valley Hospital, Senior Transportation Services at least 1 hour in advance at (970) 596-6700.
Bus Service between Crested Butte and Gunnison, and service to Montrose and Grand Junction - bus service available by appointment. Call Crested Butte Senior Van at least 7 days in advance, Monday - Friday, 9AM - 4PM at (970) 275-4768.
Gunnison Valley Health Senior Care Facility - skilled nursing, Alzheimer's/Dementia care, hospice and palliative care. GVH Senior Care Center website is currently out of date. Contact (970) 641-0704 for more information.
Mountain View Apartments - independent living apartments for low and middle income seniors and persons with disabilities.

Gunnison County Senior Resources - comprehensive services for seniors and their families, assistance with Medicaid & Medicare, crisis intervention, Adult Protective Services, education and advocacy. Call Health & Human Services at (970) 642-7300.
Gunnison Community Recreation Center - senior fitness classes including Silver Sneakers, swimming, Pickle Ball, FREE year-round walking. Click Here for information on classes and programs available for seniors.
High Altitude Performance Lab (HAP Lab) - a sport performance and exercise physiology facility at Western Colorado University
Wellness Elevated - supervised exercise program for people living with clinical conditions.
Pickleball - a sport played year-round on a court similar to badminton and tennis. Now a Silver Sneakers benefit!
Silver Sneakers - FREE memberships for eligible seniors at the Gunnison Community Recreation Center/Senior Center and senior fitness programs.
