American Red Cross Swim Lessons
Level 1 Introduction to Water Skills
Orient participants to the aquatic environment and help them gain basic aquatic skills. Participants will begin to develop positive attitudes and safe practices around water.
Level 2 Fundamental Water Skills
Build on basic water skills, submersion, front & back float and beginning strokes.
Level 3 Stroke Development
Basic water competency in a pool environment; elementary back stroke, front & back crawl.
Level 4 Stroke Improvement
Improve strokes, learn breaststroke, butterfly, diving.
Level 5 Stroke Refinement
Improve stroke and endurance. Learn flip turns, open turns, introduce new safety skills.
Springboard Diving
Must be able to pass level 3. Learn how to do a proper approach and entry off a diving board.
