Gunnison Stingrays 2022 Western Slope Champions!
Gunnison Stingrays is the hometown Swim Team.  We were founded in 1964 by Ken MacLennan the then Parks and Recreation Director.  We emphasize quality instruction, quality coaches and creating quality kids in and out of the water. We have swimmers from 4 to 19 and a few Masters swimmers to boot.  We encourage family with camping at meets and family gatherings through out the season.
At the 2021 Western Slope Championships, our Gunnison Stingrays won the competition beating out powerhouse teams like Glenwood Spring, Grand Junction, Aspen, Durango!  Our program is run at the City of Gunnison Aquatic Center under the City Recreation programing.  We are small but mighty!
Come Swim with us!  (minimum swim requirement is the ability to swim 25yds)  Full season participants need to attend a minimum of two meets.  A great way to be a part of a team and represent Gunnison!
