Gunnison Regional Communications Center coordinates, supports, and maintains many systems including the 9-1-1 information database. We are versed in communications techniques to accommodate any caller's needs and emotional state. 

Mission Statement: 
The Gunnison Regional Communications Center is a "Distinguished 9-1-1" Multi-Agency Comm. Center which ensures the safety of the public, police, fire, and EMS personnel by making diligence, speed, accuracy, and professionalism a priority when gathering information and dispatching calls.
To greet those who call us for assistance with courtesy and compassion, to remember that what seems routine for emergency service professionals may be an emergency to callers at that moment in their lives.
How they are treated by our communications center is what will mold their opinion of our emergency service system.

Welcome to Gunnison

Gunnison is a small mountain community on the western slope of Colorado with a population of approximately 6,560 full time residents. The population increases annually with the influx of tourism and Western Colorado University students numbering an additional 2,500. The City of Gunnison is the county seat for Gunnison County.
